Candles are topped with crystals which have been charged and cleansed under the full moon with sage to get the most out of their natural energies.
Both of these candles bring a warm and comfortable energy to your home.
Fadir - In old Norse the meaning of “Fadir” is father. A magickal candle to connect with your divine masculine. Taking inspiration from scandinavian forests and folklore, invoke the spirit of the ancestors with this Fadir botanical candle.
Containing notes of spruce, cypress, cedarwood and vanilla essential oils, this candle is woody, warm, spicy and something different. This blend of pure essential oils envelopes you to make you feel protected, uplifted and calm.
Just like the vegivisir on the candles front, this candle is designed to help you through rough patches just as the ancient symbol helped our ancestors steer through storms.
With added mugwort and sunstone crystals. Sunstone was used by the Vikings to navigate the oceans and to fix the bearing of the sun.
Hygge - The word “Hygge” pronounced Hoo-ga is Danish or Norwegian for coziness. This candle smells like a Danish bakery, an old school sweet shop and Santas grotto all in one. With notes of Vanilla, Orange and Cinnamon essential oil this candle is literally good enough to eat. With added gold flake, elderberries and black obsidian for extra comfort and calm.
One to light as the early night sets in, your familiar is on your lap and your feet are propped up by the fire. It really does help to create an ambience of comfort and luxury in your home.
Note: Always take the dried botanics off the top of the candle before lighting. Be careful when working with a naked flame and don't leave candles unattended.
NB: These candles have wooden wicks so they burn differently to the typical cotton candle. The first burn is very important, you should give your candle enough burning time to develop a melted wax pool that goes all the way to the edge of the container on the first use. If you don’t allow your candle enough time to form a full melt pool on the first burn, a little depression or “tunnel” may start to form around the wick. After the first use, you don’t have to let a full wax pool form every single time, but it is ideal if you want to get the most life out of your candle. Just make sure you give your jar candles a nice long burn every so often to “reset” the wax memory and prevent any tunnelling. This is to ensure a nice even burn and prevent tunnelling. If you struggle to light the wick, it may be too long or may require cleaning. For optimal burn, keep your wood wick trimmed to about ⅛”, and clean off any burnt wood from previous use.
