Cerridwen Goddess of Samhain - Macrame Pendant
This pendant is handcrafted by myself using the macrame technique. This pendant is named "Cerridwen" after the Ancient Welsh Goddess of Samhain. Cerridwen is a triple goddess and so she can appear as either maiden, mother or crone. However at Samhain she appears to us as the crone aspect of the Goddess, and as such she is associated with deep, mystical wisdom. She is a Goddess of magic, mystery, transformation, divination, and prophecy. She is also a Goddess of the Moon, Poetry, Music, Luck, Earth, Death, and Fertility. Cerridwen, keeper of the cauldron, Goddess of transformation and rebirth brings change at the time of darkness, Samhain, as we remember our beloved ancestors. There is a beautiful piece of Rainbow Moonstone and Amethyst encased in black cord and a gorgeous silver goddess, pentacle and raven charm hanging from the bottom. The pentacle is an ancient symbol of magick and is also representative of the five elements; spirit, earth, air, fire and water. In the tarot it is also a symbol of wealth and abundance. The raven is one of the spirit totems associated with Cerridwen symbolising mystery, magick and prophecy. The cord is adjustable.
